The Hawk Performance HB630B.626 is a direct-fit HPS 5.0 brake pad set for 2004-2010 BMW 535i, 545i and 550i, 2004-2010 645Ci and 650i, and 2002-2009 745i, 745Li and 750 models. HPS 5.0 is Hawk's updated High Performance Street compound. It delivers high friction hot or cold, shorter stopping distances, minimal fade at elevated temperatures, improved pedal feel, and it stays gentle on rotors.

Pads are a bolt-in job on a stock caliper and no other brake components need to change. Bed them in properly on installation so the friction material transfers evenly to the rotor face and the pedal comes up firm. Inspect the rotors while the caliper is apart and replace or resurface them if they are scored, cracked, or below minimum thickness, since a fresh pad on a worn rotor will never give its best bite or wear life. Replace pads as a complete axle set, left and right together.
