The Hawk Performance HB112N.540 is a direct-fit HP Plus brake pad set for the 1984-1996 Chevrolet Corvette and the 1988.5-1997 Pontiac Firebird. HP Plus is Hawk's aggressive street and autocross compound. It produces extremely high friction output across a wide temperature range and resists fade hard, without requiring any other change to the brake system.

Pads are a bolt-in job on a stock caliper and no other brake components need to change. Bed them in properly on installation so the friction material transfers evenly to the rotor face and the pedal comes up firm. Inspect the rotors while the caliper is apart and replace or resurface them if they are scored, cracked, or below minimum thickness, since a fresh pad on a worn rotor will never give its best bite or wear life. Replace pads as a complete axle set, left and right together.
