DTC-70 is Hawk's high-temperature race compound and is intended for track use rather than daily street driving.

Before you install

With the caliper off, check rotor thickness and surface condition, and replace any pad hardware that has corroded or lost spring tension. Bed the new pads in following Hawk published procedure so the friction layer transfers evenly to the disc before you drive hard on them.
