DTC-60 is built for track duty. Expect race-pad behavior when cold and strong, controllable torque once temperature is in. Because it is a rear pad, the friction level you run here sets how much the car rotates under braking, which is why Hawk offers the compound in both axle positions.

Before you install

Check rotor thickness and surface condition with the caliper off, and replace any pad hardware that has corroded or lost spring tension. Bed the pads in per Hawk's procedure before your first hard session.
