Redstuff is a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles, built for fast street and premium sedan use. Nominal friction coefficient is 0.5 with roughly 50 percent less dust than semi-metallic pads, and the little dust it does leave washes off with a sponge because the material carries no steel fiber. An EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions the rotor face and speeds up bed-in, though full bedding can take up to 1000 miles. Most Redstuff pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation.
