Redstuff is a hard-wearing pad, so bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles before the pad fully takes the shape of the rotor. These are a fast-road pad and are not intended for track use.

Brake pads should be replaced as a complete axle set, and a new pad only performs as well as the surface it runs against. Check rotor thickness and runout while the caliper is off, and clean and lubricate the caliper slide pins during install so both pads wear evenly.
