EBC Redstuff is an aramid-fiber compound enhanced with ceramic granules, and it is the lowest-dusting pad in the EBC range. It is aimed at muscle cars and premium imports that need better braking at any speed while keeping the wheels clean. The pads are fully shimmed, chamfered and slotted, and carry the patented EBC Brake-in coating for fast seating.

Every EBC pad set is fully shimmed, chamfered and slotted before it leaves the factory, which is what keeps a high-friction compound quiet on the street instead of squealing at every stop. The slot vents gas and dust from between the pad and the disc, and the chamfer eases the leading edge into contact so the pad beds evenly rather than wearing a step into itself. Fit them with fresh caliper lubricant on the slide pins and abutment clips, and bed them in with a series of moderate stops from moderate speed before asking for a hard one.
