EBC Racing RP-X front brake pad set, part number DP83040RPX, for the 2015 and newer sixth generation Ford Mustang 2.3L Turbo fitted with the GT Performance Package. RP-X is an ultra high performance track and race compound for cars driven hard on track and for dedicated race cars.

• Very stable friction coefficient of 0.55 up to and beyond 850 C
• Roughly 25 percent higher friction than RP-1 across the working temperature range
• More positive initial bite and excellent pedal feel over RP-1
• Nucap NRS hook pad retention system
• Stainless steel back plates

RP-X is developed for peak on-track performance, so expect higher brake dust and brake noise. Rotor wear is comparable to other popular track materials but greater than EBC's RP-1. For light to medium weight cars, cars running non-EBC big brake kits, or vehicles without ABS, the less aggressive RP-1 may suit better.
