Know before you buy

RP-X is built for peak on-track performance, so expect higher brake dust and more noise than a street pad. Disc wear is comparable to other popular race materials but higher than EBC RP-1. On light to medium weight cars, cars running non-EBC big brake kits, or vehicles without ABS, the less aggressive RP-1 compound may suit better.
