EBC GD167 is a 3GD Series GD Sport slotted rear brake rotor set for the 1986-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet 1.8.
GD Sport rotors carry EBC's reduced three-slot wide venting. The slots clear dirt, dust and debris from the braking zone and help heat escape, and they keep the pad wearing flat and parallel rather than cutting the grooves a plain disc can develop over time. Every rotor is OE-spec grey cast iron, checked for element analysis, grain structure, tensile strength and hardness, and runout tested piece by piece before it ships, so the set installs true and brakes smoothly on a car this age.
