EBC Redstuff is a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles, built for fast road use and repeated heavy braking. It bites from cold and gets better as it warms, with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and roughly 50 percent less dust than semi-metallic pads. Bed-in can take as long as 1,000 miles as the pad takes up the shape of the rotor.
