BSD rotors use EBC's V-slot pattern, which spreads heat across the face of the disc and helps the pads run cooler than an OE-style plain rotor while staying quiet in normal driving. The high-carbon iron casting is thermally stable under repeated hard stops, and the Geomet-coated silver hub resists rust and matches the hub finish of factory rotors, so replacing a single axle still looks correct on the car.
