EBC 3GD Sport rotors are cast from OE-spec grey iron and machined with a reduced three-slot, wide aperture pattern that clears dirt, dust and gas out of the braking zone while helping the brakes run cooler under load and at speed. The slots keep pad wear flat and parallel, avoiding the record grooving and galling common on plain discs, which improves pad contact for the life of the set. Every rotor is element tested, balanced and checked for runout.
