Installation notes

Because this is a friction ring rather than a complete rotor, plan the job around the parts you already own. Check the center hat, drive bobbins, and fasteners for wear, elongation, or corrosion before reassembly, and replace anything that is marginal. Rings should be renewed in pairs across the axle so both corners share the same friction surface, and fresh pads bedded in on the new surface will give the most consistent pedal.
