This is a DBA 5000 Series front brake rotor for the 2009-2011 Nissan GT-R (R35), supplied assembled as a two-piece unit with a black hat and DBA's T3 uni-directional slot pattern. It is sold individually.

A two-piece rotor lets the iron friction ring grow and shrink independently of the hat as heat cycles through it, which keeps the braking surface flatter through repeated hard stops and takes rotating mass off the front axle. The uni-directional T3 slots are handed for left and right, so the pair is not interchangeable; they keep scrubbing glaze from the pad face and clearing gas and debris out of the contact patch as temperature builds.

Rotors should be changed in axle pairs so clamping force and pad wear stay balanced side to side.
