About the 5000 Series
The DBA 5000 Series is a composite two-piece rotor built from a high carbon cast iron ring and an aerospace grade T6061-T6 aluminum hat, joined with National Aerospace Standards bolts and crimp nuts. The aluminum hat reduces unsprung weight, allows uniform radial expansion of the ring, and limits heat transfer into the hub. Buying rings alone lets you reuse hats you already own.
