Signs you need this part

Parking brake hardware lives inside the rear rotor hat, where heat and moisture wear it out. Signs include a parking brake that feels loose or needs repeated adjustment, a lever that does not hold on a slope, scraping or dragging from the rear rotors, and parking brake shoes that sit out of alignment. If you are replacing parking brake shoes on one of these trucks or SUVs, replace the springs, pins and clips with them.

Installation notes

Remove the rotor, take the old shoes and hardware off in order, and note how each spring and clip is routed before disassembly. Clean the backing plate, fit the new hardware with the new shoes, and adjust the shoes to the rotor hat as the service manual directs. Test the parking brake before driving. Brake work affects safety, so follow the procedure for your vehicle.

Shipping and returns

Free shipping on orders over $75 to the lower 48 states; Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories pay calculated shipping. Unopened parts are returnable. Opened parts may carry up to a 30% restocking fee, and friction material that has touched a rotor cannot be returned. You are responsible for confirming fitment before you order, so check your year, model, engine and brake layout against the list above.
