Prime Ceramic pads are built to keep noise and vibration down while producing low dust, which keeps wheels cleaner between washes.

Brembo casts its aftermarket discs from the same high carbon cast iron used in original equipment production. High carbon iron damps vibration, quiets the brake, and moves heat away from the braking surface more quickly.

Replace brake pads as a complete axle set so both sides bite evenly, and inspect the rotor faces, caliper slide pins, and retaining hardware while the calipers are open. Anything worn, scored, or seized should be replaced at the same time, because a sticking slide pin will chew through a new set of pads long before it should.

New friction material needs a proper bed-in cycle to lay an even transfer layer on the rotor. That transfer layer is what gives a quiet brake and a firm, repeatable pedal, and skipping it is the usual reason a fresh set of pads judders or squeals. Check pad thickness at every tire rotation and replace the set before the friction material reaches the backing plate.
