Power Stop Z17 17-2383 ceramic rear brake pads for the 2021-2025 Ford F-150, 2022-2024 Ford Expedition, 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning, 2023-2024 Lincoln Navigator, and 2025 Ford Bronco. Z17 is the daily-driver compound - not the tow-duty Z36. Right choice if you don't tow above 5,000 lb and want low dust plus quiet stops on daily commute duty.

What's In The Box

  • 2 x Rear Z17 Ceramic Brake Pads (17-2383)
  • Installation hardware (clips)
  • Dual-layer rubberized anti-noise shims

Fitment

  • Ford F-150: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025
  • Ford F-150 Lightning: 2022, 2023, 2024
  • Ford Expedition: 2022, 2023, 2024
  • Lincoln Navigator: 2023, 2024
  • Ford Bronco: 2025

Z17 is OE-plus ceramic - designed as a direct replacement for factory pads. Full Power Stop collection for the Z36 Truck and Tow upgrade if you tow regularly, or matching front pads.

Z17 vs Z36 - Which to Buy

  • Choose Z17 if: daily driving, city commute, occasional light towing under 5,000 lb, want lowest dust, want lowest cost
  • Choose Z36 if: tow above 5,000 lb regularly, mountain grade driving, off-road use, or want the aggressive drilled/slotted rotor look through the wheel

Why Z17 Specifically

  • Thermal scorched, chamfered, and slotted - fast break-in period, quiet from mile 1
  • Low-dust ceramic formula - keeps 20-inch chrome wheels clean months longer than typical semi-metallic
  • Dual-layer rubberized shims included - no squeal even after 5,000 miles
  • OE-plus performance - matches factory pad friction profile, no re-learning brake feel

Install Notes

  • Torque rear caliper bracket bolts per Ford P702 service spec
  • Silicone caliper grease on slider pins - not chassis grease
  • Bed pads: 8-10 medium stops from 40 to 10 mph, then 2-3 harder stops from 60 to 15 mph
  • Replace rear rotors at the same time if measurement is at or below MIN TH stamp
  • EPB relearn required after install if your F-150 has electronic parking brake - typically self-calibrates in first 5 miles of driving
