Semi-metallic compound offers higher heat tolerance than ceramic, better suited for tow work and gross-weight braking. Also fits 2003-2014 Ford Lobo and 2006-2011 Lincoln Mark LT on the same pad shape. Trade-off vs ceramic: slightly more dust and marginally more noise, but stronger cold bite and better heat capacity.
