Install Notes

  • May be delivered in multiple boxes (rotors ship separately from pads)
  • Clean rotor face with brake cleaner before install to remove packaging protectant
  • Torque rear caliper bracket bolts per Tundra / Sequoia service spec for your specific generation
  • Retract the rear caliper piston with a wind-back tool — the Tundra rear caliper uses a threaded piston, not push-in
  • Bed the Z36 pads properly: 8-10 medium stops from 40 to 10 mph, then 2-3 harder stops from 60 to 15 mph, then cool without holding the pedal at a light
  • Do not use abrasive brake cleaner on the drilled and slotted surface finish — mild soap and water only for post-install cleanup
