After a brake job, it is tempting to just drive normally - but new pads and rotors genuinely need a break-in process to perform their best. Skipping it is a top cause of noise and pulsation. Here is why breaking in brakes matters.
What breaking in does

What happens if you skip it
Skip the break-in and you often get uneven pad deposits, which cause a pulsation that feels like a warped rotor - see brake judder - plus squealing, weak initial bite, and premature glazing. Many "warped rotor" and new-brake-noise complaints trace directly to skipped bedding.
How to do it
