The engineered cross drill and slot pattern improves brake response through the full range of light to heavy braking. Venting and cleaning action through the holes and slots reduces pad glaze and disperses gas and heat at the pad to rotor interface, while discouraging irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces for smoother engagement and better pedal feel. Removing that material also cuts rotating and unsprung weight.
