The AERO6 is Wilwood's forged caliper, built on a stiff bridged body for a firm pedal under heat. With a 14.00 inch drilled rotor on the front axle, a C5 or C6 Corvette gains both leverage and thermal capacity over the factory brakes, which is what stops pedal travel from growing on a long descent or a hot session.

This is the black-finish version of the same kit offered in red, so choose on looks alone. It is a front axle kit, and many owners run a matching rear so brake bias stays balanced. Because a 14.00 inch rotor is large, check the inner barrel clearance of your wheels before ordering, and remember that Z06 cars can differ from base cars in brake hardware.
