How Talon rotors are built

Talon rotors use Hawk Performance's proprietary curved slot design, machined into a G3000 grey iron casting produced to original-equipment specifications, weights and processes. The cross-drilled holes and milled slots vent gas and dust away from the pad face, help the rotor shed heat, and cut the harmonic resonance that causes brake squeal. Every rotor is CNC balanced, then finished with a Magni coating barrier and salt-spray tested per ISO-9227 past the 240-hour requirement, so the hat and vanes stay clean rather than surface-rusting after the first wet week.

These are rotors only. Pads and hardware are not included. Install new rotors with fresh pads, clean the mounting face of the hub before fitting, and bed the brakes in properly so friction material transfers evenly across the drilled and slotted surface.
