HPS 5.0 is the higher-torque version of the HPS street compound: more bite hot or cold, shorter stopping distances, minimal fade at higher temperatures, and it stays quiet and easy on rotors.

Hawk's street compounds run a higher coefficient of friction than a stock pad and can give 20 to 40 percent more stopping power along with higher resistance to brake fade. Less fade means better pedal feel and more consistent braking, in a durable pad that generates less brake dust than most standard replacement pads.

Pads are supplied as a set for one axle. Replace pads in axle sets, and inspect rotor thickness and surface condition while the caliper is off the vehicle.
