About the HP Plus compound

Hawk HP Plus compound - extremely high friction output over a wide temperature range. Hawk builds its street compounds to raise the coefficient of friction above a standard replacement pad, which means shorter stops and a firmer, more predictable pedal without changing anything else in the brake system. Higher fade resistance keeps that pedal consistent on a long downhill grade or a hard back road, where an economy pad goes soft as heat builds. The set installs into the factory caliper using the original hardware, so this is a bolt-in upgrade rather than a conversion.
