Why HPS 5.0

HPS 5.0 is the evolution of Hawk's High Performance Street compound, offering a higher coefficient of friction than a stock pad and, depending on the application, meaningfully more stopping power along with far better fade resistance than a standard replacement pad. Less fade means the pedal stays firm and predictable on repeated hard stops, and the compound is formulated to push the limits of the ABS system rather than give up first. Dust output is lower than a typical original equipment semi-metallic pad.
