About the HPS 5.0 compound

Hawk's High Performance Street line is built to raise stopping power on street-legal vehicles. The HPS compound runs a higher coefficient of friction than stock pads, which Hawk rates at 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads.
