Hawk Performance HB180U.560 is a rear-axle DTC-70 track brake pad set for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, the 2004-2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, and the 2003-2007 Nissan 350Z. DTC-70 is Hawk's highest-torque Dynamic Torque Control compound.

DTC-70 is a competition compound aimed at sustained high-temperature use. It needs real heat before it delivers full bite and is not intended as a quiet street pad.

Choosing a compound

Hawk builds three Dynamic Torque Control grades. DTC-30 comes up soonest and stays predictable, DTC-60 sits in the middle, and DTC-70 delivers the highest torque and the most heat capacity of the family. All three are competition friction materials and will wear rotors faster and run louder than a factory replacement pad, which is the trade for consistent stopping power once the brakes are hot.
