DTC-70 is Hawk's highest torque Dynamic Torque Control race compound. It is built for competition, delivering controllable high torque with a smooth initial bite rather than an on-off grab, which is what lets a driver modulate at the limit. Pad and rotor wear is unusually good for a compound in this class, so a race weekend does not cost a set of discs. This is a race pad and should be treated as one.
