Directional vane design means the two rotors are handed, so each disc must go on its matching side of the car for the internal vanes to pump air the right way. That airflow is what pulls heat out of a large-diameter disc on a heavy performance SUV.

Every EBC rotor is checked one at a time for runout, so the set arrives without the distortion that shows up later as pedal pulsation. EBC recommends fitting new pads whenever discs are replaced.
