Built for heavy, fast SUVs

A 5,000-plus pound performance SUV puts enormous heat into the front discs. Letting the cast iron ring float on stainless bobbins lets it expand freely instead of distorting, and the aluminium bell cuts unsprung rotational mass. When the friction ring is worn, the ring alone can be replaced while the hub and bobbins are reused.
