The EBC Racing RP-X rear brake pad set, part number DP82089RPX, is a dedicated track and race pad for the 2021 and newer BMW M3 and M4 (G80, G82, G83) and the 2023 and newer BMW M2.

RP-X was developed for peak on-track performance, so higher brake dust and higher brake noise should be expected. It suits heavy or inherently under-servoed vehicles that are driven hard. For light to medium weight cars, cars running non-EBC big brake kits, or vehicles without ABS, the less fierce RP-1 compound may be the better choice.
