EBC BSD1488 is a front-axle BSD Series sport rotor set for the 2007-2014 Mini Cooper S Hardtop with the 1.6L turbo engine.

The BSD 'V' slot pattern improves heat dispersion so the pads run cooler on average than they do on an OE-style rotor, and the slot geometry was shaped specifically to stay quiet rather than sing under braking. Current production uses Gen 3 silver Geomet coated hubs, which match the OE silver hub appearance if only one axle is being replaced. The casting is high-carbon and thermally stable to resist heat spotting.
