Uni-directional rotors are handed, so note which side each rotor goes on during installation and order two if you are doing the rear axle as a pair. Replacing rotors in axle sets keeps braking even from side to side.

Pair the rotor with a fresh set of pads so both friction surfaces bed in together, and clean the hub face before mounting so the rotor sits flat against it. Bed the new setup in with a series of progressively harder stops before any track session, and let the brakes cool fully afterward.
