The T-Slot pattern is DBA's answer to the two things that ruin a rotor face: trapped gas and glazed pad material. Instead of one long straight slot, the T shape keeps a fresh cutting edge passing under the pad through the whole rotation, which keeps friction steady lap after lap and on long descents. Replace rotors in axle pairs and fit fresh pads at the same time for the best pedal.
