This is a DBA 5000 Series XS front brake rotor for the 2010 and newer Chevrolet Camaro SS with the V8, supplied assembled as a two-piece unit with a black hat and a cross-drilled, uni-directional slotted face. It is sold individually.

The XS face combines drilling and slotting: the cross-drilled holes give gas and dust an escape route and drop a little rotating weight, while the uni-directional slots keep sweeping the pad face so the compound bites cleanly stop after stop. Because the friction ring is separate from the hat, it can expand on its own through heat cycles, which helps the braking surface stay flat under the load a V8 Camaro puts through the front axle.

The slot pattern is handed, so left and right rotors are different parts. Replace both sides together to keep braking force and pad wear even.
