This is a DBA 5000 Series XD front brake rotor for the 2015-2020 Ford Mustang GT fitted with the Performance Package 380mm front brake, supplied as a two-piece assembly with a black hat.

Where it belongs

The 5000 Series carries the same performance technology as the DBA 4000 Series and adds an aluminum hat for lower unsprung weight and better heat management. The aluminum hat allows uniform radial expansion of the cast iron ring while reducing heat transfer from disc to hub. DBA recommends the 5000 Series for high performance street vehicles, track days, club racing and rally use. Complete assemblies are offered for first-time replacement, and replacement flat discs are available later so existing hats can be reused.
