Why a 2-piece rotor
The aluminum hat cuts unsprung weight and lets the iron ring expand evenly as it heats, while limiting heat transfer from the disc into the hub. When the ring eventually wears, DBA offers replacement rings so the hat can be reused. DBA rates the 5000 Series for high performance street driving, track days and club racing.
