DBA52355.1S is a DBA 5000 Series T3 replacement brake ring for the front axle of the 2001 and newer Lotus Elise. It is the friction ring for DBA's two-piece 5000 Series assembly, so the existing hat is reused.

About the 5000 Series

The DBA 5000 Series is a two-piece design: a replaceable cast iron friction ring carried on a separate hat. When the ring reaches its wear limit only the ring is renewed, and the T3 uni-directional slot pattern carries over to the new one. Those slots clear gas, dust and pad debris away from the friction face for consistent bite.
