Why the UV coating and high-carbon iron

Brembo casts its aftermarket discs from the same high-carbon iron used for original equipment production. Compared with standard rotor material it damps vibration better, which cuts noise and improves pedal behavior, and it moves heat away from the braking surface faster so the disc cools sooner between stops. The UV coating protects the non-contact surfaces from corrosion, so the rotor still looks right behind an open wheel after a winter.

Installation notes

• Replace rotors and pads in axle sets
• Bed the pads in per Brembo's procedure before hard driving
• Reset the electronic parking brake per the vehicle's service procedure where equipped
