Heat Handling and Pedal Feel

The extra iron in the friction band gives the rotor more thermal mass to absorb, and the curved vanes pump that heat back out between stops. Drilled and slotted surfaces give brake dust and gas an escape path off the pad face, which is what keeps pedal feel consistent stop after stop rather than going long as the pads outgas. The anodized billet hats and zinc plating keep the assembly looking sharp through open Corvette wheels.
