This is the Baer Brakes Classic Series 13-inch front brake kit for 1971-1976 GM full size passenger cars. It uses the original Baer two-piston pad-guided caliper on a 13-inch one-piece integral hub rotor.

Specifications

  • Position: Front axle
  • Caliper: aluminum 2-piston pad-guided, red powder coat with black logo, dust and weather seals
  • Rotors: 13-inch one-piece integral hub, slotted, drilled, zinc plated
  • Pads: common FMSI D412 shape
  • Included: spindles (not installed), premium bearings with races pre-installed, dust caps, mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses and all necessary hardware
  • Fits most 17-inch and larger wheels
  • Kit weight: 41.5 lbs

Fitment and Setup

1971-1976 GM full size passenger cars. Designed for a 15/16-inch master cylinder with proper pedal ratio; a 7/8-inch master cylinder can be used for manual brake setups. Any master cylinder larger than 15/16-inch requires too much pedal input to build proper line pressure. Requires aftermarket outer tie rods, Baer part number 3301013 or Moog ES2019RL. Baer cannot guarantee clearance with every wheel style, so compare the system template to your wheel before ordering.
