The Baer Classic Series front brake kit converts 1964-1972 GM A-body cars, including the Chevrolet Chevelle, Oldsmobile Cutlass and Buick Skylark, to a 13-inch disc brake setup that still tucks behind most 17-inch and larger wheels.

What Is Included

  • Aluminum 2-piston, pad-guided calipers finished in red powder coat with a black Baer logo
  • 13-inch one-piece slotted, drilled and zinc-plated rotors with integral hubs
  • D0412 FMSI brake pads, a common shape that is easy to replace later
  • Premium wheel bearings with races already installed, plus dust caps
  • Mounting brackets, stainless braided brake hoses and installation hardware

Fitment and Setup Notes

Designed for 1964-1972 GM A-body applications and intended for wheels 17 inches and larger. The system is tuned for a 15/16-inch master cylinder, or a 7/8-inch master cylinder on manual-brake cars, to keep line pressure and pedal feel correct. Confirm fitment by year, model and wheel size before ordering.
