Take the hub face down to bare metal with a wire brush, confirm it is clean and flat all the way around, and wipe it. A light film of anti-seize on the hub face keeps the next rotor from welding itself on, but keep it well away from the friction surface.

Fitting the new rotors and bedding them in

Wipe the protective oil off each new rotor with brake cleaner. Fit the rotor, reinstall the bracket and caliper at service-manual torque, and lubricate the slide pins and pad contact points with high-temperature silicone caliper grease. Never guess a torque value on brake hardware, and follow the manual if it calls for new bolts rather than reused ones.

Refit the wheel and torque the lug nuts in a star pattern. Pump the brake pedal until firm before moving the car, since the first presses only take up the slack from retracting the piston. Then carry out the bed-in procedure from the pad and rotor maker before any hard driving. Bedding builds an even transfer layer of friction material on the rotor face, and skipping it is the usual reason a fresh brake job judders. Performance pads and rotors need that bed-in done carefully and exactly as the maker describes.
